 Using the techniques and authentic materials of medieval altar painting in my own contemporary style. My work ranges from large-scale to tiny, Sometimes combining gold leaf and medieval manuscript motifs with contemporary realism, to celebrate the beauty and humour of  the natural world and the wildlife of our own back gardens.

Commissioned for a practice waiting room by a bird-watching enthusiast. Every kind of bird imaginable in an Austrian country garden is enjoying the grape harvest - plus a gang of mice and a cheeky young fox.
