 Tsujigahana Dragons
From a series of minature contemporary illuminations, celebrating the miniature dragons of the amphibian world. Tsujigahana is an ancient Japanese technique of  silk-dyeing and embroidery which inspired the backgrounds. Raised gilding  and egg tempera on vellum, actual painting  measures 8 x 4.5 cm
